Just Jigsaws: Review

Just Jigsaws

This post contains gifted items from Just Jigsaws. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

When COVID-19 grappled the nation, I decided to remove my children from school a few days before the school shutdown happened. I was sure I’d done the right thing. Although I was daunted by the idea of becoming their teacher, juggling my job from home, the housework and to be honest becoming a referee to my children’s many fights.

My list of keep-them-occupied activities is extensive and quite honestly, some of them have been completely futile. I have to admit we’ve resorted to more screen time than I’ve ever thought I’d allow. That’s why I was thrilled to receive a message from Just Jigsaws. Their lovely owner messaged me and asked if we’d like some of their jigsaws to try and review.

I said yes; not only because it would mean the children might find pleasure in something else other than arguing over who’s turn it was on the Ipad, but also because in these frankly weird and unprecedented times it’s important now, more than ever to support our small independent businesses, especially those who rely and thrive on online sales.

Upon receiving the jigsaws I realised there was something very different about Just Jigsaws puzzles.
Any jigsaw I’d bought previously instantly looked flimsy in comparison. Just Jigsaws puzzles are solid and made of wood and are hand-cut. The designs are intricately detailed works of art. You can tell that they’re manufactured with love, care and attention.
